You Choose We Help

Our Community Grant Program You Choose We Help was launched in 2016. The program is dedicated to active members of local communities who seek to improve the quality of life in the environment in which they live through small local projects. Since the beginning of the program, we have organized 7 rounds and supported 1,350 projects with CZK 28,260,000.

How does it work

Before each round, we invite non-profit and contributory organizations from across the country to submit proposals for their projects aimed at improving the quality of life of the local community - for example, improving the surrounding environment or organizing an adventure event for local residents. Project applications are then evaluated by our partner, the Civil Society Development Foundation, which assesses their eligibility and quality. In each of the 90 clusters, the finalists are shortlisted for customer voting in all stores that last 4 weeks. During these 4 weeks, customers receive a voting token every time they purchase, which they can place in the voting system of the project that is most impressive. After the vote, the project with the most votes in its area will receive a grant of CZK 30,000. The second place will receive 16 000 CZK and the third place 10 000 CZK.

Who we help

Parks for families with children, playgrounds, science clubs for children, health food workshops, educational courses, social activities for the lonely elderly, nursing home equipment, etc. These are just a few examples of projects that we decide on, we help he supported. Customers living in the neighborhood of the shops vote on their implementation, making them the most suitable way to tell which project is the best for their surroundings.
