Ondřej Bank is to sharpen a new ski gem
16 January 2020
Jaroslav Pešat will become the new training legend of the ski legend Ondřej Banks. Not yet well known skier with Frýdek-Místek will develop his talent under the supervision of an experienced coach. The first and maybe even the last opportunity will be given to both athletes at the World Cup in Kitzbühel, where the world's best skiers will meet at the famous Hahnenkamm.
Kitzbühel in Austria will witness another dream come true long before we know the winner. “Oooo, what better could I want to see than Kitzbühel with Ondřej,” commented Mr. Jaroslav Pešat, who is not idle in the training and despite the lack of snow in the Czech Republic, headed abroad before Christmas. "I was already skiing in Livigno in Italy in December, so I will be well prepared for the World Cup in Kitzbühel," he adds.
But among the racers at Hahnenkamm, you would be waiting in vain for Mr. Jaroslav. He is the winner of the Tesco and Mastercard competition, so he will have completely different concerns. He and his friend await accommodation in a 4 * hotel, a place in the Mastercard Lounge while watching the race, a tour with the referees, skiing with Ondřej Bank and other surprises.
The principle of the competition was simple, from 1 October to 30 November 2019 competitors had to buy in Tesco stores, pay with a Mastercard and enter the receipt with the authorization code at www.nahorysbankem.cz . In addition, 10 winners were drawn each week. Each winner received a one-day skipass for 2 persons to the Czech ski resorts. The main prize of the competition was a package for 2 people for the World Cup Skiing competition in Kitzbühel. The package includes transportation, hotel accommodation, a place in the Mastercard Lounge during a race or skiing with Ondřej Bank.
“We are delighted that thanks to our competition we were able to fulfill Mr. Jaroslav's big dream. Also this year we have prepared for our customers competitions for valuable prizes, ” adds Markéta Koptišová Mocová, financial services manager of Tesco.
